What you will study

What you study

The MSc in Strategy, Organisation and Leadership (SOL) is a generalist degree at Aarhus BSS. The teaching starts from one idea: people are the biggest asset in any organisation, and they are what makes it succeed. You work with corporate and competitive strategy, organisational change, digitalisation, human development, performance and engagement. The programme takes a cross-functional view of organisations rather than a narrow specialist one.

The first semester gives you three pre-requisite courses: organisational theory, strategic leadership and methodology. Together they show you how organisations work and how to interpret and investigate managerial challenges. The second semester goes deeper into specialised fields so you can narrow down your future profile. Here the courses cover corporate and competitive strategy, HRM, organisational change, and how to organise and lead digitalisation.

Admission, language and next steps

To be considered you need a relevant and recognised university degree at bachelor level, equivalent to a Danish bachelor's degree in level and length (180 ECTS). You also have to meet the specific requirements for the programme, including the English language requirements. The programme is taught in English.
