About International Business Academy
IBA International Business Academy is a business academy in Kolding, in the Southern Denmark region. It has 1500 students enrolled, many of them international. The register lists 13 English-taught degree programmes across three subject areas: Accounting, Computer Science and Psychology.
The teaching covers AP degree, Bachelor and Master degree programmes within Business, Marketing and Finance, and some of these include internship placements. An MBA-level programme is also offered. Many programmes are taught in English. The programmes combine theoretical study with practical experience, and they are globally oriented, with specialisations covering areas such as Management, Communications, Design and Innovation.
IBA has partnered with universities in several countries, including the UK and France, to offer joint programmes. The undergraduate degree programmes enable free study at universities in the USA and Europe, and students can take part in international activities such as competitions and marketing projects.
In the Study in Denmark register the English-taught offer breaks down as 2 Academy Profession Degree programmes, 1 Bachelor's Degree, 5 Master's Degree and 5 Top-up and Postgraduate Diploma programmes. The subjects listed are Accounting, Computer Science and Psychology.
For an international student, the practical steps are standard. Undergraduate applications go through optagelse.dk, while master's applications go direct to the institution. Students from outside the EU/EEA need a residence permit via SIRI. Study is free for EU/EEA and Swiss students, and other students pay an institutional fee. Check the IBA website for the programme you want before you apply.
The register in numbers
Fees are in euros as the institution lists them. A programme with no figure in the register is "not recorded" on its page, never free.
