What you will study
What you study
The MSc in Global Marketing and Consumer Culture looks at how marketing and culture connect. You learn to adjust to cultural differences and to respond to trends in consumer societies around the world. The programme takes a sociocultural view of consumption, marketing and branding. You work with advanced marketing theory and with ethnographic market research, the kind of method that gives you deep insight into how people actually live and consume. You learn to apply cultural brand management. Teaching comes from an international group of researchers who have studied consumer culture from the polar circle to the Amazon, and from YouTube to the Sahel zone.
